I'm not sure of the date of these photos. I found them in an antique reference book on furniture, the book was dated 1933. I went through the book to see if these same photos were used in the book, but they weren't. Notice in the photo of the entire room the electrical outlets. These photos are 8 by 10. The sepia room interior shows a nice colonial setting of the fireplace with a rifle hanging above the mantle, a chimney cupboard full of books, nice woven rag rug in front of the fireplace. Creased around the edges, slightly faded. The sepia photo of the card table with 3 glass decanters with stoppers (looks like nice old Sandwich Glass) is creased a bit around the edges, and is stained. There is also a black and white photo of a captain's chair next to a swing-leg drop leaf painted table, with two glass bottles on the table, and a nice floral rug. The other black and white is of a long drop leaf table with the front leaf down and the same floral rug as the previous photo. |
