Our latest adventure?? We are moving lock, stock, and barrel, from ocean to desert. We are packing up our covered wagon, leaving Maine and heading west! To TUCSON, ARIZONA! Land of saguaro cactus and palo verde trees, coyotes and jack rabbits, silver and turquoise.
Once we get moved and situated, I will seek out local auctions to find wonderful items for your enjoyment. In the meantime, I think I will have to change the name on my logo .. from GOODWIN'S SEACOAST ANTIQUES to GOODWIN'S DESERT ANTIQUES.

Vintage 6 Panel Slag Glass Lamp w/ Tulip Design Beautiful bent panel slag glass lamp. This lamp is 22 inches tall, the shade is 16 inches diameter. Tulip motifs decorate the top and bottom of the shade. The bronze base is a little tarnished, but free of dents. I could find no chips or cracks in the glass. Two sockets, each with its own pull chain. In fine working order. It has a lovely romantic gold glow when lighted. No makers mark that I could find. | SALE PENDING |

Copper and Turquiose Pendant This is a little different. Dark blue turquoise stones set in copper. One large very dark blue and veined turquoise set in the center, with needlepoint turquoise surrounding it. Tiny copper beads surround the center stone and each small needlepoint stone. Nickle Silver and Turquoise Frontier Buckle Nice looking stamped silver buckle with dark turquoise stones. The buckle is marked on the back Nickle Silver and Frontier Buckles around a cactus. The back holder pieces look like they have been re-soldered. This buckle is 3 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide, and has 7 turquoise. It will fit a 1 1/2 inch wide belt. I only cleaned it in warm soapy water, I did not try to polish it up with a silver cleaner. It would certainly benefit from a good cleaner. | SOLD |

Vintage 54 x 80 Patchwork Quilt This quilt measures 54 inches by 80 inches ... meant for a single sized bed. It is hand tied with pink cotton thread. It looks like the hemming was done by hand. It looks like the patches were sewn together with a machine. Most of the patches feel like cotton to me. The backing is a white cotton. I don't know how old it is. The batting is very heavy. The quilt weighs 5 3/8 pounds. Also, on one end, the last 18 inches has no batting. I believe this is so the quilt will drape nicely on the end of the bed, or possibly make it easier to tuck it between the footboard and mattress. There are no tears, no stains. | SOLD |
