Classic 9 3/4 inch 12 sided mulberry plate in the Washington Vase pattern, made by Podmore, Walker & Co., c 1834-1854. Beautiful, but this plate has its problems. There is a large repaired chip on the rim which can be seen in the photo, and there is a glazed over small chip under the rim. There is also a chip on the foot rim, which can be seen in the photo. There is a brown spot under the glaze on the face, which can be seen in the photo. No makers mark. |
