Nice little book that was published in response to President Herbert Hoover's message to the National Safety Congress and Exposition at Pittsburgh in Sept. 1930. Gives many common-sense ideas and hints to prevent accidents among children. Some of them still hold true, some of them, like keeping children from climbing on the ice wagons, are a little outdated. Green hardcover with black design and title on the front and spine. Just some minor wear around the edges and corners. School stamp on front inside endpaper. Inside pages are nice and clean. This book is 7 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches, 265 pages.
