Nice looking edition, brown hardcover with gold wreath and banner with BYRON embossed on the front along with black scroll and floral design, gold and black design on the spine, plain back. Gold gilded page edges on all three sides. Nice tissue guarded illustrated frontispiece of the Castle of Chillon. Spine is a little sun faded, and just a little cracked. Corners are bumped, there is some slight fraying at the top and bottom of the spine. Inside pages are clean. Previous owners name and date are written in pencil on the front flypiece (date is Christmas, 1903). This book is 7 1/2 inches by 5 1/4 inches, 855 pages. Nice!
